My name is David Martinez, a.k.a. Splitmind. A digital artist specializing in visual development for cinema, commercial, UI/UX and video games. -Becoming a better artist is my life long commitment. Attended the Illinois Institute of Art Chicago in 2007, where my passion for CG and design began. - I have over 12 years of industry experience and currently working in virtual production - at Happy Mushroom I’ve been fortunate to work alongside talented team of individuals and contribute to some of the most well established IP’s.
Releasing the forms trapped inside the block is how I approach my projects. The creative process stems from seeing creations as delusions of reality and captivating in a moment of time. Life is much more colorful when you can create anything you can imagine and helping others build their visions has been truly rewarding.
